RIM has partnered with the University of Pretoria to open a BlackBerry Apps Lab in the Information Technology department. The Lab has a BlackBerry Enterprise server, Internet access and some high-tech computers. What RIM seeks to achieve with the BlackBerry Apps Lab is to provide students and faculty with access to all necessary resources and knowledge to start developing BlackBerry apps.
