App Poll: Do You Want First BlackBerry 10 Device to be All-Touch or Physical Keyboard?

Poll: Do You Want First BlackBerry 10 Device to be All-Touch or Physical Keyboard? xl_BlackBerry_LondonLeak_624

Take Our Poll

BlackBerry fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the first BlackBerry 10 device. So far, from what we’ve seen, there will be an all-touch device. A BlackBerry 10 slider was also rumored, but that revision was later canceled. Who knows though, it may be re-birthed.

It’s no secret that BlackBerry has built its success on its fantastic physical keyboard. However, the mobile space has vastly shifted into all-touch. This has caused RIM to make many current and future changes in its BlackBerry designs.

As a BlackBerry fan, what do you want the first BlackBerry 10 device to be? Do you want it to be all-touch or have a physical keyboard? Vote in the poll and sound off in the comments to let us know why you chose that option in the poll.

App RIM Starts Necessary House Cleaning of Employees

RIM Starts Necessary House Cleaning of Employees 014_rim

Ever since Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie stepped down as co-CEO’s, giving Thorsten Heins the CEO spot, many changes have been made. We’ve seen how many high level executives had to leave, but it is no secret that there’s still a lot to do. In order for RIM to make the changes they need to get back on track, they must let some people go, start fresh with new ideas and new people. As sad as it is to see people lose their jobs, this is a very good thing for RIM and we can’t wait to see where these changes take the company.

App Man Charged with Attempted Murder After BlackBerry Party Brawl

Man Charged with Attempted Murder After BlackBerry Party Brawl jessie-j

Previously, we reported on the Brit who got seriously trashed (only off beer) at the BlackBerry BBM party in London, who ended up stabbing another party goer in the neck with a broken bottle. Ashley Charles, 25, of Nevanthon Road, Leicester, is set to appear at Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court for attempted murder.

The 37yr old man who took the broken bottle to the neck is still in critical condition at the hospital. The BBM party was attended by celebrities including rapper Wretch 32 and stars of The Only Way Is Essex as well as BlackBerry competition winners.

The stabbing incident occurred after award-winning singer Jessie J performed at the party, who then spoke of her shock on Twitter. Our thoughts go out to the stabbing victim as we wish for his fast recovery.

App More Photos of 4G BlackBerry PlayBook – Shows Native BBM

More Photos of 4G BlackBerry PlayBook â€" Shows Native BBM 018

Just yesterday, we saw some of the first revealing photos of the 4G BlackBerry PlayBook. In those photos, we saw the SIM card slot, 4G branding, and some of the new sections only available in a PlayBook with a dedicated data connection.

In the new round of photos, looking at the one above, you see the native BBM client. It’s not much to look at for the time being, but at least it shows its built into the OS. The second photo shows the options for the mobile connection. We’re pretty excited to see more details on the 4G PlayBook, are you?

App First Photos of BlackBerry PlayBook 4G Surface?

First Photos of BlackBerry PlayBook 4G Surface? 008

We’ve known since the first BlackBerry PlayBook that RIM would eventually release a 4G variant of the tablet. We’ve even seen some clues in the OS that RIM had really prepared for the 4G PlayBook. A user has posted what they claim is a true 4G BlackBerry PlayBook.

Looking at the images, you can see the ‘mobile network’ icon on the settings screen. In the first photo you can see the space for the SIM card, which is located where the charging port, HDMI out, and other ports are. What do you think, real or fake?
