Google has finally came out with an official Google Calendar Sync software for the Blackberry. I was so excited to get this and see it work so efficiently, I must have emailed all of my friends with a Blackberry.

It feels great to make entries with your Blackberry's native or built it calendar and have it sync with your Google Calendar. I can view my Google Calendar entries even when I don't have any Internet connection, which happens to me all the time when I travel outside the country.

Google has done a great service to all Google Calendar users who have a Blackberry, I'm sure this is going to make their Calendar service even more popular.

Download Blackberry Messenger 5.0.0.57

RIM sure is updating their native BlackBerry applications more often lately. BlackBerry Messenger version 5.0.0.57 is now available for download from blackberry.com/messenger and mobile.blackberry.com.

This version’s release could be a response to the current data outage affecting North American BlackBerry users, but since there’s no official changelog we can’t say for sure. If you’ve had problems sending messages through BBM today try downloading this update to see if it fixes it.

Gmail Mobile for Blackberry Download

I found out that Blackberry can now be able to check email on Gmail, by using Enhanced Gmail Plugin for Blackberry. The application support Blackberry Bold, Curve, Storm, or Tour. The new enhanced Gmail plugin features add and remove label or stars, report spam email messages, perform local and remote searches, archiving emails, view threaded emails.

Although this is a good plugin, the synchronization is only one way, meaning that it can only communicate from BlackBerry to Gmail web interface.

PayPal has launched its mobile application called “Send Money” for BlackBerry smartphones, which let users to send money quickly, check for PayPal account balance and history of transaction right from the phone.

PayPal mobile “Send Money” application is now available as a free download through BlackBerry App World in Canada, USA, UK, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Ireland, Portugal and Australia. The application also available for Android platform and iPhone, enables PayPal to be on your palm while you are on the go.
