Have you been wondering if the largest US carrier would be supporting BlackBerry 10? Verizon Wireless’ Chief Marketing Officer, Tami Erwin, told CNET that the company wants to give consumers more options.Rather than focus primarily on one or two devices, Verizon would like there to be a third ecosystem for its customers to choose from. Erwin confirmed that Verizon Wireless will carry the BlackBerry 10 smartphones when they are released in Q1 2013.It is nice to see that carriers understand there is room for a third or even fourth mobile ecosystem on the market. This gives credence to what Thorsten Heins had previously said why RIM was not worried about missing the holiday season.via PhoneDog
